Kaduna Policemen protest non-payment of salaries

Kaduna – Hundreds of policemen serving in the Kaduna state command Monday stormed the command headquarters to demand explanation to the non-payment of their salaries for up to two months.
The policemen who came from various formations across the state stayed in front of the police quarters peacefully before the state commissioner of police, Agyoleh Abeh addressed them and assured that efforts are being made to correct the anomalies.
He said the non payment of salaries of some officers of the force was not the fault of the police high command but technical issues associated with the recent migration to the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information system, IPPIS.
