Nwoye says we’re Anambarians, no Hausa in the race

APC candidate in the forthcoming election, Dr. Nwoye, has tasked his rivals to face the the reality that he and all other contestants are Anambrarians saying that the demarketing campaign directed to brand his party as a Hausa party would not work. Nwoye who spoke at the inauguration of his campaign committee, also said that the alleged plans by APGA to rig the elections would not work.
Five of the APC governorship aspirants who lost out to Dr. Nwoye who was present at the occasion also vowed to ensure that he wins the contest to become the second APC governor in the Southeast.

Accusing APGA of planning to rig the election, he said: “APGA feels they will rig the election but in this election there will be no rigging. APGA and others campaign against APC labelling it a Hausa party are deceiving themselves because all the contestants in this election are Anambra people”.
While urging the Anambra electorate to vote for APC to sanitize the state, he appealed to aggrieved parties in the APC to sheathe their swords and join hands with him to win the election.
The five former aspirants who identified with Dr. Nwoye were Chief George Moghalu, John Bosco, Bart Nwibe, Nonso Madu, and Paul Chukwuma.
Speaking at the occasion, one of the aspirants, Moghalu advised all aggrieved members of the party to show a spirit of unity even as he advised the candidate to ensure that he carried everyone along ahead of the polls.
“We have to do something urgently now. We should move into the battle field ready to win this election. When the result of our party primary election was announced and Tony Nwoye was declared winner I took it that it was the handi work of God to bring him into the governorship race.”
Another aspirant, Mr. John Bosco equally appealed to party members to work as one family to be able to defeat their foes in the electoral battle.
All the aspirants except Senator Andy Uba who was not present were appointed as leaders and members of the Tony Nwoye campaign organization.
