Update: Nwodo, Ekweremadu, other Igbo leaders meeting Buhari now

ABUJA – LEADERS of South East are meeting President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa Abuja.

The delegation is led by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, President General Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, and the governors from South East.
The governors present are Dave Umahi who is chairman of South East Governors, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Abia State and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state as well as the deputy governors of IImo and Anambra states.
Chairman of South East senate caucus, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and other senators and the Deputy Minority Leader of House of Representatives, Chukwuma Onyema.
Though the agenda of the clised-door meeting was not made public, Vanguard reliably gathered that the issues to be discussed at the meeting include the alleged marginalisation of the zone by the government, deployment of the military code named operation python dance etc.
