Police investigate Ogbete market fire in Enugu

The Police Command in Enugu State on Wednesday commenced full scale investigation into the fire incident that engulfed milling section of Ogbete Main Market, Enugu.
35 shops in the grind-milling section of market, several huge milling machines and grains meant for milling were totally destroyed by the inferno.
No life was lost, but the traders lost millions of Naira during the incident that occurred at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Command’s spokesman, SP Ebere Amaraizu, told newsmen that police operatives began the investigation to ascertain the cause of the inferno.
